Get a few quotes! I would not recommend using their services. I had them come to my house to check on my lights. A lot... of bulbs and recess lighting had gone out and we wanted to make sure it was just the bulbs and not a greater electrical issue. Initially, I was told the cost to check on the issue would be $29. Upon completion of their inspection they asked for $300 because they had to check every single bulb in the house.Still, I asked for a quote to see how much it would be for them to replace the necessary lighting as I am doing other house projects and wanted help with this one. On top of the $300 I already paid them, they wanted an additional $1100 for labor and materials. I was shocked and thought the price was steep.Twice now I felt blindsided and shocked by these costs. Now, I absolutely had the money to pay this, but it felt like I was going to pay somebody $1400 to change my lightbulbs. I briefly considered doing it myself, but thankfully I checked Nextdoor for recommendations and I found somebody who completed the job for $400. Not only was he a licensed electrician, but he was upfront about the costs and showed me exactly what I was paying for. Always get quotes!I’m not saying they do bad work, but I think you can find a better value elsewhere.read more

I had a great experience with 4A. I had an urgent issue - called them at 6am in the morning (huge plus because no one... else was open) and got an appointment scheduled for 10am THE SAME DAY. I have a new love for my kitchen just because of the lighting! Henry came to our home to give us a free estimate and was just so kind, professional and honest. The estimate was very reasonable. As we all know, good contractors are rare. 4A Electrical Services is now at the top of my list of quality electricians.... Henry is friendly, professional, and most importantly knowledgeable and experienced.I called him late on a Friday to help with wiring up some commercial STENNER pumps and he understood what I was asking for and scheduled me for Monday afternoon. They installed a new 200 amp panel with main, and added an interlock kit with generator outlet for whole house backup.... Overall, Great experience! Does very good, clean work. Had dishwasher breaker keep tripping. Then fridge went out. Henry took a look. Found bad wiring in outlet. Found... half the breakers weren’t tighened down. Went thru and cleaned it all up for me.
